Hello all,

I'm running annual daylight illuminance simulations in Diva for a model in different climates. From what I know daylight coefficients are dependent on the geometry and materials of the model so I'm using the same coefficients for each run (I hit the yes button when Diva asks for reusing the same daylight coefficients). But I get the same results for all climates. Can anyone tell me what I should do about that?

Thanks,

Maryam

Hi Maryam,

That method won't work, because the direct solar positions that Daysim uses are based on the geographic position of the weather file. You will need to re-run the calculation for each climate.

Best,

Alstan

Thank you for your response.
