I have a question regarding materials.

I want to simulate a daylight situation in an office, where one of the windows has redirecting glass, so that the light spreads deeper into the room.

Is it possible to "make" a material with this feature, and in that case, how do I do it. Preferable, I would want use an aerogel-material.

I will attach the file. The aerogel-glaze layer is now assign wirh "krypton_47",

Kind regards, Johanne

Hi Johanne,

That's a bit tricky.  If the aerogel redirects light evenly, you might consider using a 'trans' material.  DIVA comes with a somewhat more detailed translucent material called "GenericTranslucentPanel_20", which has 20% direct normal transmittance.
