I tested an annual glare simulation on a model for 2 cases. in case 2, i tried to reduce the thickness of the facade column in front of the glazing in order to have larger window openings.
I was expecting the glare risk would be higher in case 2. However, results showed the opposite that case 2 even has less glare even it has larger window openings.
2nd question: the window is on the west side but the annual DGP showed glare in early morning even in March or August which i dont understand.
I attached some photos here
Case1: annual glare result for original design
Case2: glare result after change in the facade
