Dear forum,

I am working on a students project and got confused. In reality two glasses are laying on each other both having the same properties with no air between.
How would this be implemented for DIVA? Do I have to model the glassed as a 3D-object with a material like single glaze or only a surface with a material like double glaze?

Is DIVA only taking care of one surface even if the model in Rhino was created as a 3D-object?

Hope, this isn't a too stupid question,

Glass should be a single surface, not a solid, and not two coincident surfaces. You have to ensure this yourself -- DIVA does not check or modify your geometry.
