Hi,

1- I am doing some LEED Analysis (sDA and ASE) and I was able to get the percentages. But I am not sure what the color gradient is showing... Percentage of occupied hours. but I dont know if it is showing the sDA or ASE.

2- What is the best option to compare different shading systems (different glasses or different types of vertical and horizontal fins). I was using UDI so far and trying to get the higher UDI 100-2000 [50%] percentage. but when I started to do LEED analysis for my optimized option of UDI, I am not getting good results. (not even close to be get LEED points) my sDA is too low (25%) and my ASE too high (23%). So, My design is both so dark in some areas and so bright in other parts.

could someone help me, What is the best comparison tool.

Thanks,

Zahra

Hi Zahra,

1

The default analysis display is showing sDA. You can load ASE separately by right-clicking on the Metrics button.

2

Daylight Availability (300lx) is a good one because it ranks daylight highly but will punish certain high levels of illuminance (3000lx > 5% of occupied hours will be displayed as overlit in a pink color).

Best,

Alstan
