Orientation based parametric study of a rhinoceros model in Diva-for-Grasshopper

Hallo,

I wondered if there was a way to change the orientation of a rhino model from grasshopper, either by rotating the x-y plane or by rotating the entire rhino model?

For my lighting simulations i have been using the current Rhinoceros scene, instead of referencing the rhino geometry in grasshopper.

Regards,

Michael Rosenlund

Hi Michael,

Yes, you can change orientation using the "North vector rotation" parameter.  (Zoom in to any simulation component to find it in the hidden inputs menu.)

Jon

Thank you :) that is so much easier.
