Hello!

I'm wondering whether the concept EUI (kWh/m2, yr) can be used to describe the theoretic total energy and cooling loads results from simulations. Would it be adequate to call the results (and divide it by the conditioned square meter area) with "EUI"? Or does EUI only refer to a real assessment of a physical building?

Thanks!

Hi--I would suggest to simply call it 'Predicted EUI' to avoid any ambiguity. Its quite common to use EUI from a simulation tool as a metric.

Best,

Alstan

I see. Thank you a lot!
