I´m running some simulations in Viper, I´ve been trying to include the surfaces of adjacent buldings as shades but I haven´t gotten any results, all the outputs are in "Null". The simulations run fine when removing the shading elements.
Is it actually possible to do this with Viper (and Energy Plus), or is it only possible to simulate shading objects that are in contact with with thermal zone?
There were no errors displaying from Viper´s messages. Looking at the surfaces I was feeding into the shade component I found that some of them where not planar (even though they looked like), so, when rebuilding those surfaces the simulation ran fine.
