Dear community,

I would be very grateful if someone could tell me if with Radiance parameter settings in Visualization option there is the posibility of rotation in "z" axis with -vu option at the same time of “x” and “y” rotation.

I use -vu 0.5 0.5 0.5 (The model is 45º rotated to the North and the view is toward to down). However, the picture is the same as -vu 0.5 0.5 0. I think that “z" information does not work or I am doing something wrong.

Thank you very much in advance. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards,
Urtza.

Hi Urtza,

The Camera component is responsible for passing view parameters to the Visualization component. So to avoid confusion, set your vd / vu vectors in the camera component, and not as text arguments in the Vis component.

If your view is pointing down (-z), your up vector should have no z component.

Jon

Hi Jon,

Thank you very much. Now it works.

I was confused, because for all down view I added -vu values. However, for that view it works only with camera settings.

Best regards,

Urtza.
