I see you use fishview for the rendering. Did you do it in DIVA. Could you let me know how to change the camera into fishview. I can only find perspective, parallel and two-point perspective under the properties. Thank you.

Hi Zhe,

This can be a little confusing. The fish-eye view is set in DIVA, not in Rhino. If you want to get a fish-eye view, click the Metrics button and go to "Daylight Images" Then "Visualizations". In the Visualizations menu there will be an option for "Camera Type". You can select either Perspective or 180 degree fish-eye.

The studies I did above show Point-in-Time glare analysis which is another option under the "Daylight Images" tab. For the glare analysis (which uses evalglare) the simulations are only valid if you use a 180 degree fish-eye, so that is the default option when doing those kind of simulations.

Hi Kera,

Great analysis! I am just curious to know if that is a mesh in you image? Did it take a long time to run the analysis? I am thinking of using frittered panels in facade of a building and wanted to run a DGP analysis to chk the effectiveness of the panels. Thanks :)
