How did you get such a render for your analysis?

Every time I run an analysis on my rhino model, the only way I can export the graph is to go into "top" view, click print, save as PDF. This is much higher in quality than the pdf version-I'd appreciate very much knowing how you did it.

Hi Christopher,

That's not a render but a photo of a physical model. I ran a super-high-node-count CBM sim, pdf'd the metrics and hard-textured highly tesselated planes with the metrics as vertex colors. Then.. Zprinted it. I've had other students use Rhino scripts to turn the results mesh colors into materials, though, which can then be rendered- with the caveat that you still retain the jagged results grid edges that way. The manual texturing as done for these models isn't half bad, though, and you can even blur the metrics a bit.
